Prices
Our pricing is based on 50p per 25mm (inch) of blade
sharpened (rounded up) with a minimum charge of £2 per blade. Chain saws 25p per 25mm (inch)
Examples.
- an 88mm (3.5 inch) cooks knife would
be 50p X 4 = £2
- a 10mm chisel would be the
minimum charge £2
- a pair of 200mm (8 inch) scissors
would be 8 X 50p X 2 = £8 Note the 2 X multiple because
scissors have 2 blades
- 150mm (6 inch) jointer knives set of 3
would be 6 X 3 X 50p = £9
- 450mm (18 inch) bar chain saw. 18 inches X 2 = chain length 36 inches X 25p £9
There will be an additional charge for blades that require regrinding due to damage or breakage. This will be assessed when the piece is received but is typically a doubling of price.
